Q. What author services do you provide?
A. In its simplest form, we help authors and prospective authors publish their book manuscripts, primarily on Amazon and Amazon Kindle. Yes it's possible to do without any help, but why kill yourself? There are countless steps involved, some rather technical, others rather frustrating - and we're available to fill the gap at a very affordable one-time cost.

Q. How are your prices so low?
A. Ha, good one. Ask us again in a year or two, the accountant may say we miscalculated completely. We've seen others offering these types of author services for $1,500 to $2,000 - and/or demanding a royalty on every copy you will ever sell. We charge a low, one-time flat rate. Time will show the wisdom of our business model.

Q. What author services do you not provide?
A. Literally speaking we do not edit or proofread client manuscripts, although we will correct misspellings and typographical errors if we spot them. That said, if in our considered opinion your manuscript would benefit from editing or proofreading - or for that matter requires it - then we will properly advise you. We also do not offer ghostwriting, and are not interested in co-authoring, partnerships, or revenue splits.

Q. Will I talk on the phone with whoever is working on my book?
A. A qualified yes. One of us will call you as part of an initial contact and personal consultation. After that, anytime telephone calls are desirable or necessary, we'll call you again. Meanwhile you're always free to fire us an eMail or use the contact form with questions and concerns on how your project is progressing.

Q. Are you an agent, a publishing house, or a marketing firm?
A. Actually, none of the above. We consider ourselves publishing facilitators. We get your book on Amazon. The whole social media marketing thing is up to you, not our specialty.

Q. What payment methods do you accept?
A. Paypal is our exclusive payment corridor. For one thing it's ultra-safe, and for another we do not ask for, nor do we want, you bank or credit card information. You will not need a Paypal account to remit your payment. We require a 20% non-refundable deposit, then after your book is live on Amazon we'll invoice you for the balance due.

Q. Do you offer any services a la carte? Such as formatting for paperback only?
A. We don't make a habit of it, but we're all about service, and are inclined to help you out when we can. In some instances we may be able to help you land a distributor who works with additional booksellers, U.S. libraries, and international markets. Contact Us with your special request(s).

Q. Must I provide a cover for the book, or do you handle that?
A. It's a hybrid solution, meaning we do it together. We work with a prolific cover creator at GoOnWrite.com, from whose designs you may choose as part of our publishing packages. If you dislike all of their designs, we can recommend a custom book designer to work with you one-on-one at additional cost (around $250).

Q. Will you ship me copies of my paperback when it's available?
A. That we do not do, but highly recommend you order one or more copies yourself directly from Amazon. You'll get to know the buying experience firsthand, and see how your books delivered when others purchase them.

Q. Once I'm published, do you take any commissions or royalties?
A. None. That alone separates us from most of our online publishing competition. We're paid just once. You alone receive all of your well-deserved royalties.

Q. Do you create my 'About Author' page on Amazon?
A. Yes, if you don't have one already and would like one. You provide the biographical sketch and optional photo, and we'll do the rest.
